Coupled with landscaping projects is the installation of efficient irrigation systems. Irrigation is still the best way of saving and maintaining your water distribution in your garden. This creates the ideal opportunity to remodel your garden and implement permanent water saving areas within an existing garden. The existing irrigation systems are altered to maximum water saving as well. Succulents, although amazingly beautiful, are not the only water saving way to complete your garden. A Water wise design doesn't have to detract from your garden and can indeed improve it by the clever usage of pebbles, river stones, bark, indigenous plants and pavers to create beautiful water wise areas. Lawns, for instance, can be replaced by a well-designed dry river bed, enhanced with water wise plants and decorative garden furniture and features. In all ways is this more economical to maintain.
